About CU Integrator
CU Integrator, originally launched by WRG in 2003, will now serve as another differentiating component of the Episys product. Episys provides market-leading core functionality that is deployed by approximately 500 credit unions nationwide. The addition of CU Integrator provides a Software Development Kit (SDK) that can be used in conjunction with best-of-breed development environments, such as Microsoft® Visual Studio.Net, to produce robust Windows® or Internet applications that easily interface with Episys.
Using CU Integrator, credit unions can write programs in VB.Net, C#, J#, or C++ that communicate seamlessly with Episys using the platform's SymConnect™ interface. This provides many programming possibilities that combine native support of Episys with well-known front-end programming languages.
Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal) is among the credit unions already using CU Integrator. According to Ray Rounds, vice president of information services of CU SoCal, "Using CU Integrator, we have been able to enhance existing products, and approach new services with much more flexibility and using a broader range of tools and resources available to us. The ability to develop applications that integrate directly with the Episys system enables us to tie together systems that previously required a much less flexible approach."
"With CU Integrator, more credit unions will be able to program applications with their own development staff, said Kevin Sarber, president of Wescom Resources Group. "This will help them offer dynamic, real-time online applications to serve their members. By combining support of SymConnect on the back-end with well-known programming languages on the front-end, CU Integrator truly gives a credit union the ‘best of both worlds.'"
